Victoria Woodards

Guest Speaker

Victoria Woodards has called the “City of Destiny” her home for nearly her entire life. She is a proud graduate of Tacoma’s Lincoln High School and served as a soldier in the United States Army. Before becoming Mayor in 2018, she served for seven years as an at-large member of the City Council. During that time, she launched the City’s Equity and Empowerment initiative which led to the establishment of its Office of Equity and Human Rights. She also brought partner organizations together for then President Barack Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper initiative, and spearheaded the City’s Project PEACE initiative which bridged community members with the Tacoma Police Department.

In Mayor Woodards’ first term, she continues to be a champion of these important issues while expanding her involvement in regional and national conversations on affordable housing, transportation, strengthening youth and families, public safety, growing local business, and the creation of family wage jobs. She has also worked to more fully engage the City’s youth in community decisions that impact them every day, by expanding Student Government Day and establishing the City's first Youth Commission.

AllA

Performer

A Seattle based r&b and pop singer and songwriter whose ethereal and soulful vocals will hypnotize you into a state of dreamlike wonder.

Born in Russia and raised in Seattle by Armenian immigrant parents, AllA is one of a kind. Her sincere and raw desire to connect with others is the catalyst that sparked her emergence into the music scene. She hustled her way into the local scene by attending shows upon shows and forging collaborations with local artists like Jake Crocker, MistaDC, Dave B, The Soultanz, Justin Hartinger, and more. Through these endeavors, AllA’s sound evolved into a dark, moody, melodic fusion of R&B, pop and electronic music.

Her journey has only just begun and she hopes you'll follow along!

Her debut EP “Finally” produced by Jake Crocker is available on all platforms NOW!

Jarv Dee

Performer

Jarv Dee's distinctive gift of smoky, melodic lyricism has made him a household name in the Pacific Northwest. Though his irrepressible energy, an unmistakable voice, and OG sticky hooks are his trademark, it is his down-to-earth, out the mud POV that gains him fans everywhere he goes. Jarv Dee is a born survivor, something that translates all over the world.

With over a decade worth under his belt, this Tacoma, WA native has been on the cusp of a major breakthrough. After making his way from local underground to the mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop music scene, his journey included stops on American Idol, MTV’s Making The Band, and The Voice. Since 2010, he has released 3 indie albums, multiple mixtapes and countless singles on all major music outlets. His 2017 single, Still In Love, was produced by Grammy award winning super-producers, The Stereotypes, whose production include Bruno Mars’ 2017-18 radio hit singles: That’s What I Like and Finesse. Before the pandemic, Rocky had been on the road touring heavily over the last few years building a loyal and unique fan base all over the country. He landed a distribution deal with The Orchard/Sony that helped his name circulate among industry indie and major label A&Rs. ‘Today’ was chosen as the soundtrack to the 2018 Miss WA, Miss Oregon, Miss Idaho and Miss Wyoming USA pageant. After finally launching his own company, Baguio City Music Box, he garnered over 100K organic streams via Spotify by releasing a new single every month for 2020. When his 2021 project, a 4 song EP titled ‘Eros’, was made available as an exclusive hardcopy only album, it sold out immediately while still garnering almost 100K streams collectively since its release in February. Rocky is set to release 6 more independent singles to finish out the year while planning for a tour in the 2nd quarter of 2022.
